Schenectady, NY- Liz Joy, Republican Candidate for Congress, in New York’s 20th Congressional District, has filed her Campaign’s Quarterly report with the Federal Election Commission. Joy is running to unseat current Congressman Paul Tonko.
“I am so happy to announce that to date, our campaign has raised $60,000 from 366 unique donors. We’ve over doubled our contributions and donors since the last filing. We’ve increased our volunteers to 176 ‘Boots on the Ground.’ These are residents living in the district signed up to carry petitions, make phone calls, promote messaging on Social Media, and host ‘Meet and Greets’ for the campaign. The average household income in our district after taxes is approximately $50,000. This campaign isn’t funded by big National PACS. It’s funded by the people who live here. ‘Joy For NY20’ is truly a grass roots effort, house by house, town by town,
county by county. It’s of the people, by the people and for the people. 2020 will be an exciting year for our district and we can’t wait.”
